Found the generator (and it works!)

Lovely sunny day here - got some bedding aired on the washing line and my piggies are bedded down in new hay and shredded paper, and some of them managed 10 minutes trimming the lawn for me.

Meanwhile- I hope the rest of those in peril are ok

Couple of SMALL branches blew off of the trees around the house here.
Power only blinked at around 2:30 this morning.
A few vehicles have gone past the house so that means the road isn't blocked.
The power outages occurred all around me but our circuit stayed up and running!

FOR ONCE

During the night the house was "breathing" pretty hard due to the wind but no problems.

I saw some pics from near you Twitch.......looks like it got pretty ugly!

I pulled up traffic cams for MD near where Barb's parents live and everything is looking rather good there. The ones on I - 68 are a different story once you get west of Cumberland, MD. From Frostburg and west the farther you go, the deeper it gets!

Checked on the Bristol, VA area cams and I don't know where they got the idea that it was dumping snow from because it's just wet and traffic is moving.

Pickles!! Nice to see you again.

My brother has not been heard from yet. Turns out where he fled to his new home is totally under water too. We hope to hear from him soon. Cell service is spotty at best. Any towers in an area where there is no power will keep people from being able to contact each other that way.

There are NO electric utility trucks anywhere near our neighborhood. NONE. There are quite a few streets with live wires blocking roads too.

Anyone living on the bay and has a view of the water has been completely flooded. Search and rescue happening behind us where the little cove is - walking distance from my house. I think the water has to go down before they can restore the power.

Seaside Heights - all those boardwalk pictures I shared with you all ... that won't be happening anytime soon. Two major piers are washed away. Funtown Pier and CasinobPier - gone.

I have only radio reports to go by. I have not seen an actual photo yet. Anyone with any to share please do.

We really didn't get shit around here. They said the wind blew during the night but I never heard it.
Some trees are down and some power is out in places, but nothing major.

It's gotta be fucked out where Twitch is though.

Here I thought I was looking at a stripper site...but there a some good pics there.

I don't even think it's near you yet. It's a very slow moving storm and around 4 PM today, it was barely out of NJ yet. This is going to last more than a week.
