Did anyone see Immortals?

We saw it Monday and hated it. Lots of good action and effects but it fell flat for us. The story was flat, unoriginal and frankly, it was hard to pay attention.

We were very disappointed. We wanted this to be good.

Is that another comic book movie? I've completely lost interest in them, I haven't even seen the last X-men and I heard it was really good.

Ah, I see. That would have appealed to me years ago but they're treating mythology like comic books as well. Thor anyone? (Although I might watch that one, the starring actor is hot)

Yea, Thor sucked for the most part. Natalie Portman needs to GTFO. The Asgaard chick would have been a better female lead. Also, the plot was boring, but damn if I didn't nearly have a seizure from the special effects.

I pretty much give up on comic movies...but the Avengers...now that was a very good movie I thought in terms of comic book baed movies. Actually, it was worth seeing on it's own despite that.

Matt's a comic book geek so I'm "stuck" seeing them all. I couldn't sit through the first ten minutes of Captain America though. He suffered through it and said it was terrible.

Saw the first Spiderman and lost interest in the rest. Matt too.

I enjoyed Superman - all of them, but I think that's where it all started. Everyone needed to "top" it or something.

As far as comic book movies go I think the best was actually a B grade movie. Tank Girl. Being that the comic was meant to be B grade they captured it perfectly in the movie.

That aside......Iron Man was good. I want to see The Avengers.

Tank Girl IS the best! Never read the comic, I love that movie.
