I'm more worried about the nun's habit he is thinking about buying....who is it for?
They are great for 'sing-a-long at the Sound of Music' I've heard.
Cucumbers never get past the shed and into the house....piggies can smell them at 100 yards.

Yeah but just be happy it's not like Japan - earthquake and tsunami all in one night.

Jesus, I wake up, turn on the news and see cars floating and flotsam from the wreckage eating up Japan.

Got Daisy's 4 month checkup with the surgeon who did her leg today. I don't think he's going to be happy with her results. She appears to be walking on that leg but she's really favoring it. I can tell she's hardly putting any weight on that thing. Now the weather is clear and warmer, I'm going to start afternoon walks with her.

I found out yesterday the old lady next door died. Dave said the vultures are moving in swiftly and she's not even in the ground.

Is it habit she has started? Abarth has been hobbling, favouring his hind leg. No1 son pointed out to me tonight when they were all out this afternoon he wasn't hobbling when I was out of sight.

Sometimes I wish these type of people got their just desserts.....
My father asked everyone to write down honestly what they wanted from my grandfathers cottage.
My cousin made a request for a mystery jug that belonged to my grandparents along with several other members of her side of the family who asked also for other things. My brother also asked for the jug, the grandmother clock and a 1930's print. My cousin wisely asked just for the jug, so she got it. My brother got the clock and the print, only because no one else was interested in them.
The jug got broken by my cousin's son recently. My brother has just had to add the print to his house insurance.
I didn't get a choice only because my grandfather was overheard telling me I was to have his table the Christmas before he died as we struggled round my kitchen table for afternoon tea.

They're all fighting for the house! One estranged wife wants it for her snotty kids. She's not legally entitled, she's in for a surprise!

Dave was asked to stay so no one vandalizes the place.

Daisy has medicine and a two week checkup. I am to walk her daily for 15 minutes and we'll see from there. There might be some kind of scar tissue irritating the ligament they made for her or it could be damage from her doing so much damage to begin with. OR it could be psychological that she's afraid to test it. I've seen her use it to hoist herself on the couch, so I know it does not pain her.

I was up at 5 AM in a panic. I had my antique dresser in the flood path on its top! Shock
Woke up suddenly because I heard rain! no no no no no! I busted my ass all day scrubbing that thing with vinegar getting bug webs, mold and other nasties off it! I was drying out the wood that got wet with lights and was preparing to lemon oil the hell out of it and make some repairs to a piece of trim that fell off and its fucking raining on me! Damnit.

Back on the pallets it goes until this torrent stops. I want that up here for the new TV stand. Going to hang that baby on the wall and get the antique here for all the components and stuff under it. Have a place on the top for the laptop because we got that hooked up to the TV now to watch stuff on it, thru it etc.
