Well it was fun while it lasted. Nice warm weather to end the week and then wind and cold for the weekend. Now it's white on the ground again after just a 2 -3 day break of being able to see the ground. NUTZ!

0 That white stuff is going to skirt past us about one county north. I'm not complaining. The ice on the pool is melted and drained off a little. Matt says we'll be having snow every day this week. I don't believe him. He better be wrong! I about had enough of that shit!

0 About 1/2" more white shit overnight.
I have a new kitchen table to assemble when I get home this evening!  The present one is over 20 years old and has been getting wobbly for the last 2 years. Not bad for a pressedwood table but it's seen better days. The new one is 6" wider and has a self storing 12" leaf so when we have guests we will be able to expand it for a bit more elbow room. 0 I finished the kitchen yesterday waiting for the site to propagate for me! Going to mop the floors and take pics for the before and after thread.

0 I am always in shock of how MUCH dust there is and how FAST it accumulates. I am constantly walking around with my broom or swiffer and hitting spots every where.

You got bombed with a lot of snow yesterday didn't you? Some places got nothing, some got hit hard. Around here a few miles made a huge difference. We didn't get our snow until today. I had windows open this afternoon for awhile too, it got warm. Weird end of winter weather. I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head

0 That's the one thing I don't miss from the farm - the mud. I must have lost several boots in the muck, which sometimes went knee deep from the horses tromping through the same spot. You'd think they'd go to the back of the field where it's high and dry.

0 I don't actually have much for mud here where I'm at now, good gravel and sand, it drains right out.
Where I lived when I was a kid, we had summer, fall, winter, mud, and spring. |
