0 That's a pretty cool site. Lot's of really good pics. It almost makes me think that I should know more about the history of the wall and everything, but don't. I do remember reading about the Berlin airlift and I remember when they tore it down. Ah, I miss Ronald Regan.

0 Thank God for the internet and educational TV channels, huh? There is lots that we were never taught in school but only touched briefly on the subjects. I wish we were schooled more and sometimes I wish I was able to go to college. I'm not up to going back now though - I just can't sit still long enough for school.

0 Very good bit of historic photography. I like the "then and now" comparison pics. They show the stark contrast between soviet ruled East Berlin and the now united free city.
