That was all over the news yesterday. They had the dog and his owner on the afternoon show on Fox News. Seeing CNN's angle is amazing how they're portraying him as a "dangerous" dog. The dog was well behaved on the show and was nothing but a big lover.
He is lucky he didn't get shot though. Normally the cop would have shot every dog in that situation. The owner also said this is quite out of the ordinary for this dog to behave like that too. I believe the owner because of the way the dog behaved in the interview and from the video here.
The owner is a dope for keeping the dog's pen tied shut with strapping instead of a chain though. We have a chain link dog pen and the latch has a place where you can put a security clip in. All you need is an eye snap and the gate can't open at all.
