We just got through watching The Hangover. Our stomachs ache from laughing so much throughout the whole movie.
FYI - those were not the worst hangovers ever. No way! If you can get up off the floor and go downstairs and eat, drive around etc, you ain't in pain.
Anyway, this one is a keeper for the collection. What a riot.
Story:
Some guy is getting married. Bachelor weekend in Vegas with his two best friends and the wife's brother.
They wake up after a night of partying to find no memory of the night and The groom missing. Trying to trace down the events that lead them to their missing friend reveals one fucked up night of partying and debauchery.

That is what blew the movie for me...a couple of chuckles but for it to really live up to its name these assholes should have been rug-burned, cotton-mouthed, puking, blood-shotted, gagging, migrained, hershey-squirted, hair-of-the-dogged, ass-breathed, whirlyed, idiots throughout the entire movie. The only time I laughed was the four minutes that their hangovers lasted. I was never so fortunate to be relieved of a hang-over in a couple of minutes.
It was a let down.

I have it ordered on netflix, so I avoided looking at the story parts you talked about.
But yeah, bad hangovers suck. Laying on a tile bathroom floor in December naked in a holiday inn till I almost froze to death, that had to be one of the worst that comes to mind.

Lying on your back, breathing carefully and concentrating so you don't vomit. But that wouldn't make much of a movie.

Laying on the bathroom floor with your face on the cool tile.....head hurting so bad that you can't even lift it off the floor. And just when you are finally feeling like you might not die and the jack hammer in your head had stopped......your stomach decides that it can't take it anymore and you have to puke again....so the jack hammer in your head starts banging again. Worse than before. The dry heaves leave you with stomach muscles in agony.....death would be a relief. THAT is why I don't drink much anymore. Not worth it. LOL
The Hangover was funny. Good movie.

I just watched this last w/e. Loved it. One of the few movies that actually lived up to the hype. I seriously LOL'd through most of it. Good stuff.
