Nope, I could not possibly care less, unless maybe it was football.

RE: The Oscars Sunday Night - Twilla - 03-05-2010

I haven't seen any of those movies so I'm not really too interested. I just hope Avatar doesn't get best picture, I heard the actual story sucks hard...

I also heard James Cameron is a huge prick. Is one, doesn't have one.

i don't care much about the Oscars per se, but i did buy this: "Inglourious Basterds"
and have "Precious" on pre-order at amazon.
i'm happy for the young lady who has been nominated for the role of Precious. she has had a pretty crap life as an obese black girl.
the Q Tarantino is typical of him, i like it a lot. historically inaccurate and violent Skull. but satisfying.
i do want to see La Streep as Julia Child. Smile

RE: The Oscars Sunday Night - Twilla - 03-05-2010

Yeah, I'd be pretty happy to see Precious sweep the boards.

did you read the book? (i didn't.)
i seem to remember you liked the animated "Coraline".

RE: The Oscars Sunday Night - Twilla - 03-05-2010

I really enjoyed Coraline, but that definitely wasn't a children's movie! No, I haven't read Precious but it sounds like everyone put their heart and soul into the movie so I'd like to see it win a bunch of awards. Same with The Hurt Locker.

RE: The Oscars Sunday Night - Twilla - 03-08-2010

Yay for Katherine Bigelow! First woman to win best director EVER and that's gotta burn her pompous ex's ass. Double win!

RE: The Oscars Sunday Night - Havoc - 03-08-2010
