Practical Jokes! - BallseyMalone - 03-01-2010 It's always funny, until it happens to you! RE: Practical Jokes! - BallseyMalone - 03-01-2010 Holy Crap! How many amps Viz? Sound pretty lethal! RE: Practical Jokes! - Vizth Hal - 03-02-2010 Not many, I've shocked my self hundreds of times with bigger banks than that, and the worst I've got is a couple small contact burns. It was just a flash cap i picked out of a disposable camera. Low amp DC voltage you'll get burned at worst not die, unless your ticker is jacked up already. RE: Practical Jokes! - Twitchin Kitten - 03-02-2010 It's all about the amperage. RE: Practical Jokes! - Black Sun - 03-02-2010 I give you the "Chad hates aliens" prank. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWqI0U3pBdA RE: Practical Jokes! - ralgith - 03-02-2010 (03-02-2010, 11:35 AM)Twitchin Kitten Wrote: It's all about the amperage. Which most people don't realize. I pissed on an electric fence once. Very low current, but man was THAT an eye opener! (I had pissed on it many times before, and it had never been electrified. Apparently the farmer had decided to change that. Probably from me and my sister sneaking in and stealing apples and blueberries ) RE: Practical Jokes! - LKTraz - 03-02-2010 Most capacitors for flashes are in the range of 20 milliamps. It takes from .5 amps and up to enter the fatality zone. RE: Practical Jokes! - ralgith - 03-02-2010 (03-02-2010, 01:03 PM)LKTraz Wrote: Most capacitors for flashes are in the range of 20 milliamps. Do be careful with your electronic equipment though. It only takes 3 volts at 1 milliamp to fry a modern circuit board, and it takes 30 volts for a human to feel a static shock at that amperage. Enjoy. RE: Practical Jokes! - SyberB - 03-02-2010 (03-01-2010, 10:42 PM)BallseyMalone Wrote: It's always funny, until it happens to you! Wow... that's a lot of effort to go to for a 'practical joke'. Good grief. They're lucky someone didn't get seriously hurt or drowned. What if a kid fell in there? Or a woman carrying a baby? Chrise. |
