That's cute. I had a cat who loved water too and one now who sort of likes water.

Fugly was a stray who loved water. For nearly a year I used to find footprints in the bottom of the horses water tubs and I always thought it was a raccoon. One day, long after he decided he didn't want to be a stray (cat just walked in the house, plopped down in front of the wood stove as if he's been doing it all his life) I went out to the fields to give fresh water. There was Fugly splashing and playing in the tub!

Then there's Iggy Pop. Iggy is sitting on the ledge of the tub for every shower I take since he's a kitten. He likes to jump in once in awhile and get wet and jump out. He doesn't enjoy it as much as Fugly did but he does like to swat the stream of water or drink it.

Heh. Pretty cool cats there. I had one once that loved to sleep in the bathroom sink. I turned the water on one day just to mess with his head and to my surprize it didn't faze him one bit! He just moved so that his face didn't get splashed and rolled around getting wet. Afterward he jumped out, walked into the shower stall, shook off and proceeded to dry off by licking. About 20 minutes later he came out and laid down by the radiator to finish drying and when he dried off, paraded on the coffee table until I confirmed that he was nice and clean.

That sounds just like my Fugly! That cat died 10 years ago and I still miss him terribly. He was quite the unique guy.

My Monty likes to sit on the toilet if I am having a bath or shower, that fucking cat follows me everywhere. I have lost count of the number of times I have woken up in the morning and he is sitting on the bed almost nose to nose with me.

It is a case of "yes, hello Monty".

Belle will sit on the sider of the tub between the shower curtain and the liner while I am in the shower. Then she hops in when I am done and licks the water left on the tub. I can't use that Clean Shower stuff because of it. I don't want her to ingest that stuff.

This made me laugh:

And I'd take her home in a heartbeat. What a beauty.

Is it messed up what we do for our pets?
Half of my morning waking up routine revolves around a couple of cats.
They get milk before I get breakfast, one cat loves pumpkin, she waits for me to finish my cereal, the other one runs up to the bathroom right after the morning milk and waits to be brushed before I can brush my teeth.....and so on and so forth. Then they gotta get a treat before I walk out the door or I imagine they talk shit about me all day.
