Brookdale Guitar Show - Twitchin Kitten - 02-09-2010

Brookdale Guitar Show they've been screaming about this all month on the radio here.

I think we're going this weekend. Looks like fun!

I went to the one in Valley Forge, PA a few months ago.

I think many of the folks are from the same venue (ie... dealers, used gear merchants etc)

VF was a good show. Lots of spectacular pieces. I have pics on my band's site.

Visitors have access to the photo gallery so click the link and go to the album "guitar convention" that my rhythm guitarist Wayne posted.

omg I've never seen anything like it. I wonder if Rotosound go to these things? (snigger- if someone sees them on a stand go up and say. Tell Jason that Trudi says Hi. If Jason is there he will be puzzled and if its one of his salesman they will wonder how the hell you know him)

I'm not sure if they have international vendors but I certainly will do that if I see them!

Yep!
You know the company? Mark and I have known the owners since he passed his driving test. We went to Holland with him and his wife last August.

Well, I don't know one guitar from another! :p
I do enjoy listening to those that can, and envy their talent.

Jason took us to his factory so I do know more about strings that I thought there was to know. They still hand wind special orders, some strings are made just for recordings to get a 'certain style'. It is a skilled job and we met some of the staff who have been making strings for over 20 years, by hand.
Jason has completed the invention his father started for winding strings by machine.
He is now inventing a new machine for something totally differant Wink
