Half Time with The Who - Twitchin Kitten - 02-07-2010
OK so we're not football fans in this house but we're peeking in and out of the Superbowl anyway.
Stayed tuned in specifically for the half time show with The Who.
The Who has always been one of my favorite bands of all time and goddamn if Roger Daltry still has a goddamn set of lungs on him! He's got one of the most distinctive voices in all of Rock n' Roll and next in line has to be Jim Morrison.
Although the band never sounded the same since Keith Moon's passing, it really changed after Entwhistle died. NO ONE can play bass like that maniac! You felt it in your soul when he played.
I'm glad I caught the show, short medly that it was, I have seen The Who a dozen times and I am never disappointed!

I couldn't believe it! I was just turning the TV off and sports night started by announcing the The Who would be playing during the match. Since it meant staying up until 3am, so we didn't and still don't know about Super Bowl, sorry folks.

Daltry's voice didn't dissapoint and Pete Townshend can STILL do that trademark "windmill strum"!
I thought the stage was fanfriggintastic too. Great effects.
My only letdown was that Roger didn't do the extended mic swing during that haunting keyboard part in Won't Get Fooled Again.
