The Truth About PeTA - Twitchin Kitten - 02-03-2010

Attached is my article I wrote and posted on another website a very long time ago. Much of the information is old and there is so much more that can be added to this and actually, the overall article can be improved upon greatly. I am not going to do that. The article as it is has enough links in it so you can do more research on your own and learn what a bunch of disgusting hypocrites this organization truly is.

The last link www.petakillsanimals.com has a wealth of links and horror stories of this group and you can even get the court transcripts of the trial they recently went through for getting caught throwing dead animals in a trash container. Sadly, through slick attorney tactics they got off on this charge when they shouldn't have. It's all there in the transcripts.

Peta has enacted a campaign targeting children in schools now called Mommy Kills Animals. This is used to scare children to go vegetarian and to make their own parents look like horrible people.

Anyone who has known me knows how I feel about animal abuse, how I've advocated for animals for decades will also know I don't exaggerate to get a point across when I dislike something. I've had personal dealings with this group and I've seen them at dog shows causing trouble enough to get a prized dog killed by a car when they went about opening cages of the dogs to free and liberate them.

Animal liberation is absurd. Peta will use any current news story to make themselves noticed and they'll kill animals to make a point. They are a lunatic organization who know no limits outside the law to make a point.

If you want to help animals, the ASPCA is a wonderful organization and I support them fully. I have a widget at the bottom of the home page to donate as well. Donations go directly to them and not through me.

Help your local shelters too, they can always use a bag of food or a day of your labor.

Please try to avoid the Human Society of the United States. I used to work with them a lot but they have partnered with PeTA and have within the last 5 years becomes as radical as them. Its a shame because they used to be at the top of my list with the ASPCA.
