Why is national Cherry Month? It's cold and not a single tree is sprouting cherries!
Michigan is the cherry capital of the nation.
Cherries ripen in the summer. This is weird.

I drove by the Mason City Airport on the way to deliver at a grocery warehouse and noticed a sign in a field outside the airport fence. I pulled over and walked out to it.
The sign marks the site where the plane came to rest and they have some of the fence wire that was entangled with the plane at the base of the sign.
