My aunt and uncle are under a huge blanket of snow again in the Blue Mountains. How are you fairing Eric? RE: West Virginia Outdoors - Eric - 02-02-2010 purty much all the snow is in the back yard but at one point I had over 2' here. course I just looked out the window and Poof its snowing again! LOL Not to sound like a prick but are you talking about the Blue Ridge Mountains? RE: West Virginia Outdoors - Rhubarb - 02-02-2010 Yep! There too. They live near Union. Well not so near compared to how we live here, everything is all so far from each other. The biggest town is Lewisburg to them. RE: West Virginia Outdoors - LKTraz - 02-02-2010 Lewisburg, Pa? If so......that's not that far from me! That WOULD be at the edge of the Blue Mountain range. The Blue Mountain is just a few miles from me and I drive over (or around) it nearly every day. As far as WV goes I was always partial to the view from I-79 N approaching Jane Lew in the winter after an ice storm. Supremely beautiful when the dawn peeks over the mountain to illuminate the icy trees! RE: West Virginia Outdoors - Eric - 02-02-2010 My Money's On Lewisburg West Virginia , Union Virginia is Just on the Outskirts of West Virginia and the Blue Ridge Mountains Tchnicly/prolly the Vally Ridge Area of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Lk , Me Myself I am Kinda Patial to the view I have From the Mountain Top at Cheat lake ( Appalachian Plateau ) that would be the I-68 from Maryland into West Virginia area. RE: West Virginia Outdoors - LKTraz - 02-02-2010 Know it well. I stayed the night at Keyser's Ridge, MD more times than I can count. RE: West Virginia Outdoors - Eric - 02-02-2010 You mean this little town? RE: West Virginia Outdoors - LKTraz - 02-02-2010 That's the view from the truckstop! You must have taken them from there. RE: West Virginia Outdoors - Eric - 02-02-2010 those were taken by a guy that just did some grouse hunting there. but yeah I have been threw Keyser as a matter of fact I have been all over this state , I used to live in P.a.
