Country music star and guitar.....hell nearly ANY stringed instrument virtuoso Roy Clark has gone for the big dirt nap at age 85. He died from complications associated with pneumonia.

That's a damn shame. A true pioneer on the guitar and banjo, a real talent. I've always enjoyed him

I saw this late when I got home. I couldn't be sure if it was true or not because of conflicting 'hoax' reports. When I saw Variety had it posted I figured it was true. I wasn't a fan at all (thanks mom) but I do appreciate his talent.

I'm no country fan either but I always liked that he could go outside his genre and sound great doing it. His talent was almost otherworldly and he was so diverse on stringed instruments.
