Jerry Lewis had quite the career from radio, film, stage, production, directing, writing and charity fundraising.
Hard to find people who are so diverse these days.

I always thought he was an assclown. When I was younger I thought he was funny, but after I was about 13 I just thought have a little self respect man.
Anyway, 91, he had a good run and had more good years than most of us will.

You know what's really funny? I saw Jim Cary on the Graham Norton show and I watched on purpose to see if he was as insufferable an asshole IRL as he is on screen and he was actually a decent guy. I was surprised. But both of them are just "ham" actors IMO. Always out in front with the "look at me! look at me!" and the rest of the scene is irrelevant compared to them.

Not like pretty much every actor goes into acting because they want attention from stangers...
