Personalized plates - Twitchin Kitten - 06-20-2017
Sometimes my own stupidity amazes me. I want personalized plates for the Mustang. I toil for a couple of YEARS on what I want on them. I find the forms online only to be disappointed for 3 months waiting to get the login credentials via snail mail from the DMV. Yes, they mail you a login / account because it's "more secure".
SO I decide to print out all the forms for ALL names I can think of - 12 in all, and I physically bring it to a DMV office.
Well, you can't do that. You have to do these online now.
So I call them again only to find out that the website is not up to standards and most likely won't because they hired temps to build "the new website" and well nothing works. It was suggested I go an mail the applications via snail mail and they man on the phone explained how I can send these in all together instead of waiting for one form of 4 at a time. Fine, I can do this.
NOT
I get it all sorted, collated and numbered in order of preference. Used red pen and lots of sticky notes, the works to make it fully "idiot proof".
I seal it up and mail it. Know what I realized the next day? I realized that I forgot to include the check!
So there are now TWO applications on the way to the NJDMV. Let's see what happens.

I'm glad PA is easier. SHOULD I want personalized plates I can do the search, application and pay for it all from the PADoT website. (They had ADULT professionals build and maintain their site)

I would put that on with pride if they do! You're not allowed any kind of "suggestive" or "crude" words and if they send me that, without it being on the list, then I use it as a precedent. Plus it leaves people's imagination to fly wild

Pretty innocouous right? UNTIL.......when as the front plate, you see it in a rearview mirror.
