So today my new moccasins come in the mail. I'm all kinds of excited too. I had a pair of these years and years ago and I find they've changed them. Damnit.

They put a stupid pointy toe and soft cushy insole in these!
What's the point? They're supposed to have NO soles for a reason.
So, I sent a letter.
Hopefully they'll respond fast! Here's the letter:
I just purchased through Amazon.com a pair of your soft sole, ankle height moccasins.
I am rather disappointed in the changes you've made to these wonderful shoes.
I had a pair years ago and I absolutely loved them but now I find you've made the toe more pointed than round and you've added a cushy insole to them.
Just so you know for the future, the pointed toe is only going to curl and fold in an ugly way as they wear and the cushy insole defeats the whole purpose of this shoe!
These used to have a double layered suede sole in the past and what this did was allow the shoe's sole to conform to the shape of your foot. Now the foamy insole will not allow for that and you've got it guled in there so I can't even take it out!
These were comfy and durable in their original form. So much so I would even go horseback riding in them!
I'm disappointed to say the least and I'm only seeing these useful as house slippers now.
Thank you for listening and I hope you revert back to their original shape and soles in the future.
But my clogs came yesterday! They seem OK.
I got clogs like these but not in this gigantic size!

Dad had Amazon vouchers for Christmas.
He ordered two bird feeders (as if he hasn't got enough already) for nuts and seeds. The nuts arrived and the seeds are on back order. He was annoyed because two came as a package and it was the seed feeder he really 'needed'.
He was pleased to see buyers leave comments which helped him choose the feeder suitable to the garden. He has a squirrel problem.
Have you put a note on the comments?
