Well it snowed a little last night. Not much mind you, just enough to make the ground white. Total accumulation? Maybe 1/2 an inch. BUT.........
Coupled with freezing temps and gusting winds we lost power around 2:45 PM today. I still have some life in the laptop and my phone is giving me a hotspot for net access. I've been checking with PPL (Piss Poor Lighting) and they STILL are not saying anything on their super special power outage information page. Now I can SEE the crews about a mile down the road but no information on the site.
What really pisses me off here is that they state that their restoration priorities go first with hospitals, emergency services and police, which is a no brainer. Next is major lines and substations with large numbers of customers. Ok, makes sense. Now it comes to outages affecting the most customers. Here's where it gets to be bullshit.
Checking the map in my area there are numerous outages affecting 16 ta one, another affects 9, and others as follows.... 2, 7, 11, 3, 1. MY circuit affects 85...yes eighty-five.
They have most of those others restored and just NOW I get a text saying we should have power back by midnight. FUCKING MIDNIGHT? REALLY?
Yeah their priorities list is pure bullshit there!

It was 70 degrees here yesterday
Rained overnight and chilly and windy today.
We get outages almost every time it rains ever since Sandy. It's bullshit. They promised to fix the Gris and they did nothing. Lol trump's website has an area to tell him what you want to see him get done. Go forth and bitch.
