Cruel or not? - Twitchin Kitten - 10-25-2016 This dog is dying. Has lost the use of his hind legs prior to the cancer and these owners take him for walks in the hot sun in Florida so he has "a good time". Dog's been going through chemo too and they claim he's in remission. They say you can see how happy he is in his eyes. I call BULLSHIT. Those are the eyes of a dog with no choices. He does not look happy. I could never put an animal through chemo let alone put it through that and parade it around. You decide: http://www.fox5ny.com/news/213478762-story RE: Cruel or not? - Biker Dude - 10-25-2016 It's a tough choice for sure. Has to be balanced against all the other factors in your life, and the dogs. For me I always said it would come down to the animals quality of life. If he doesn't have any, you need to let them go, and nat make them suffer because YOU can't deal with losing them. RE: Cruel or not? - Stealth Geek - 10-30-2016 I didn't watch it but it's animal abuse no matter what sort of nonsense they have of justifying it. Of course vets would rather get a lot of money for keeping the dog alive, instead of doing the humane thing and putting it out of its misery. |
