Making a murderer - Twitchin Kitten - 09-17-2016 Holy shit! Did anyone see this series on Netflix? True story of a guy who's been railroaded his entire life in some podunk town in Wisconsin. I swear I am so glad that I grew up where I did. This is some scary shit when an entire town's law enforcement society is so corrupt that they will stoop at nothing to destroy a family. And as I watched I kept asking, "Why the fuck are these people talking to the cops? Why doesn't their lawyers tell them to talk to NO ONE without them present?" They are just stupid. So this guy Avery goes to jail for 18 years for a brutal rape he did not commit. The rapist is still running loose and they knew it. He fights it, gets out after 18 years and sues the state for wrongful imprisonment. While that is going on, suddenly a dead body winds up on his property. That's where the fun begins. I don't think he did it. NO one can keep up the tone and level of innocence like he does for all these years. You guys gotta watch this. Your head will spin with all the obvious fuck ups from law enforcement here. So scary that this can happen to anyone. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5189670/?ref_=nv_sr_1 Quote: and this link has a few news articles that are recent: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5189670/news?ref_=tt_pv_nw_sm RE: Making a murderer - Biker Dude - 09-17-2016 I didn't watch it. But I am familiar with the case. I think Avery did it. If nothing else he is just flat out scum. His cousin though I don't think he was involved, I think they took advantage of him to get a confession. RE: Making a murderer - Twitchin Kitten - 09-17-2016 What makes you think he did it? Everything in the show made me think he's not guilty. What they did to that kid is reprehensible. The kid is a dummy and they manipulated him to no end. Regardless of his guilt or innocence, the whole thing with the cops was disgusting. You should watch it. It was filmed over a 10 year period too. RE: Making a murderer - Biker Dude - 09-17-2016 They left out and ignored evidence that didn't point the way they wanted. The DNA on the hood? It wasn't blood DNA that could have come from the tampered vial. It was sweat DNA. Her phone was 20' from his door. He called and specifically asked for her, and blocked his number. She knew him and was creeped out by him. He was a known and admitted animal abuser. They typically move on to 'bigger and better' prey. The documentary was filmed and presented in a way intended to inflame the internet and create outrage. It did! I also think the cops did a ton of shady shit. And I don't think they needed to. Did they plant the blood inside the car? Yeah, maybe. Sweat DNA on the hood? No. There is a lot that makes me believe that him being locked up is good for everybody that might be living near him, specially women and animals... RE: Making a murderer - Twitchin Kitten - 09-19-2016 OK, but how do you explain that if he had her shackled to the bed and killed there, why was there no blood in his room? Jesus he was pig and there was no way he could scrub that room and get it all. Then they changed their story to he killed her in the garage. No blood evidence found there and they went so far as to dig up the floor hoping to find something soaked into a lower layer. AND why on earth would he keep her car there? He has a crusher on the property. He would have to be the dumbest fuck on earth not to use it. Not that he's too bright anyway. I dunno. The kid goes on for a new trial soon. He was definitely framed. There was video shown of his interrogations and Jesus Christ! How arrogant were these cops to interrogate him on video and think no one will call it up? And his first lawyer setting up that kid too, and he got away with that on a separate trial where they found corruption. We had no coverage of this out this way, you got more on the news that I had, obviously, but that show left a lot of doubt going on evidence alone. There's nothing to like about any of these people. I found them all to be dumb as stumps and just listening to them talk so goddamn slowly only to say virtually nothing was a true test of my patience. RE: Making a murderer - Biker Dude - 09-19-2016 I had never heard of it until people were like 'OMG this guy is innocent netflix said so!'. I researched the documentary makers, and the case separately, never watched it. He got fucked the first time, even though he was scum then, he didn't rape that girl. This, yes, I think he did. I don't think he can help himself. Yes, I think the cops were shady. No, I don't think they needed to be, I think they had enough real evidence that if they had played it straight, he still would have gone bye bye. Free, he is a danger to everybody. Locked up is best for all, including him. RE: Making a murderer - Twitchin Kitten - 09-19-2016 Well, I'm just going on what was presented as evidence in the series. I hear there are plans to continue it some more. RE: Making a murderer - Biker Dude - 09-19-2016 They left out quite a bit, but what they left out only looked bad for him. He will always be scum just for dousing his cat with gas and throwing it on a fire just to watch it suffer. That alone garners him nothing but hatred from me. Animal abusers typically end up moving on to people. And of course they are going to carry on. They got what they ultimately wanted, fame and more work. RE: Making a murderer - Twitchin Kitten - 09-20-2016 Yeah, he mentioned that cat incident in the opening sequences of the show I think. Blew it off as a stupid thing kids did. Didn't mention that he doused it with gas though. He said it was pressure from the others he was with and he felt bad afterwards. I didn't buy that. Watch the show just for the police videos alone. That is what outraged me the most, not who they did it to. It was a matter of what they did and how high up it went. Made me grateful that I didn't grow up in some podunk town like that where corruption is so easy. You got a link to where they show more evidence and stuff? RE: Making a murderer - Twitchin Kitten - 12-06-2018 So I'm watching the second series on this show. The retard, Dassy (sp?) has had his conviction overturned. I think the kid was set up but I'm with Biker that the other guy is guilty. There's a high profile lawyer on this case now that is insisting this whole thing was planted by the cops because they don't like the guy. We shall see. It is a little slow going and boring compared to last season, but now they have a choice to let that kid out. |
