Remember when they would show the games on regular network channels 24/7 and they preempted regularly scheduled programming? those were the good ol' days

There are tons of other summer events that people would like very much to watch.

You know that they are airing events on 7 - 9 different channels....right?

I have Dish and they have an app that gives you all of the channels and what is airing on them.

Yes of course. That's my whole point. It sucks like that. The apps suck too. It was way better when everyone was able to watch.

There's just no real excitement about the games anymore either.
Of course "back in the day" the events that dominated coverage were track and field, weightlifting and the swimming/diving competitions.
It's good (and bad in a way) that they're trying to cover more events but I think they are over-reaching.
