Ah, telemarketers - Twitchin Kitten - 03-09-2016

I usually have great fun with the telemarketers who call from Pakistan with Christian names trying to fix my computer because they're from Microsoft and got an alert and are trying to help, but this guy really took it one step further.

I've done the "put the phone down while eating" bit eons ago. They never fail to fall for that one too.

Fucking hilarious:

I had one that I got to swear at me. He called on my lunch at work. In the middle of his schpeal, I told him I needed them to stop calling me. Without missing a beat he said 'impossible' and get right on going. So I told him I wanted to talk to a supervisor. He said 'they are all busy helping people that want to use our service and can't be bothered talking to scofflaws'. So I then told him to just take my name off of their list and he let out a string of profanity and hung up on me. All I could do was laugh! And then block the spoofed number they were using.

Scofflaw? that's a good one.

At least he was honest about telling you it is impossible to have them stop.

It never ceases to amaze me when people use words that they clearly do not know the meaning of.

I've gotten a few when I ask for their home phone number so that I can call them back at some impossibly inconvenient time (I choose based on how they act). That usually pisses them off enough to hang up and never call me back.
