Christmas list - BarEdul - 11-28-2015 Okay, joy to the world blah blah, we all want joy, peace for man kind, happy safe animals. But what do YOU want this year, It can be your Santa is a millionare dream list or .... your I really do need this and life is a budget list. I started mine with a Waffle maker (year LK is buying one at tax time) Scratch that. sigh. some how, vacuum cleaner and carpet steam cleaner, meh no not for xmas. so.. ? what ever do I want or more importantly NEED as this is a budget Christmas at our house. Think think think YOU? RE: Christmas list - Twitchin Kitten - 11-29-2015 All I want is one of those automatic vacuums because I'm so tired of always vacuuming, but that isn't a job for Santa. I really don't want anything. RE: Christmas list - toys - 11-30-2015 Although I would love a central vacuum cleaner system for the house... I would be thrilled to have some free time. (Can you give "time" as a gift?) The last time I took more than a few moments for myself, was a working-vacation in June 2013. RE: Christmas list - Twitchin Kitten - 11-30-2015 I already have a central vacuum system. I never put it away and it has a 30 foot hose that is a hazard for any biped living here! I wish those things had retractable hoses into the wall! That Roomba thing would be perfect now that the dogs are gone. I wasn't going to risk it with 2 pit bulls who could easily get "upset" with it and destroy it in a matter of minutes. RE: Christmas list - Biker Dude - 11-30-2015 We've been doing the Roomba for a couple of years. Pretty sweet. Then pull out the vacuum once a week or so. The dog almost goes out of her way to lay in front of it, Oscar watches it, Farrah just disappears. RE: Christmas list - Twitchin Kitten - 11-30-2015 Which model do you have? There is now one specifically for pet hair and I just can't see it being much different than the others. I also like the one that mops your floors. I need that too as I'm always spilling something in the kitchen! RE: Christmas list - Biker Dude - 11-30-2015 We have the pet Roomba. Picked it up at CostCo, don't remember how much. We still end up vacuuming, because it won't do stairs etc. It does a pretty good job. RE: Christmas list - Twitchin Kitten - 11-30-2015 OK good to know. I don't have stairs so that's not an issue. It self adjusts I assume, to carpet and back to bare floors? Does it have any issues going up onto a carpet from a floor? RE: Christmas list - Biker Dude - 11-30-2015 It seems to do fine. I don't have any hardwood yet, so it's just lino in the kitchen. |
