Has anyone been watching this on AMC?
Falling Skies
The chaotic aftermath of an alien attack has left most of the world completely incapacitated. In the six months since the initial invasion, the few survivors have banded together outside major cities to begin the difficult task of fighting back. Each day is a test of survival as citizen soldiers work to protect the people in their care while also engaging in an insurgency campaign against the occupying alien force.
Looks like they're winding up the series and this season, which is two episodes in now, is going to be the last one.
I'm hoping for total annihilation of the human race. The good guys don't win. Why? Because no one has ever done that, at least not that I have ever seen. People who follow the show will freak out. It will be epically mind blowing to see the failure.

I saw a couple episodes in season 1, looked reasonable. Haven't been back yet though. It's on TNT.

I loved watching this show when it came out haven't finished the latest season but I suspect things wont end like they should.

I finally finished watching it, it was pretty good ending overall but it felt kinda rushed.

Really? I thought the ending was stupid. It did feel rushed and the show list it when they made Pope a full on, revenge seeking psycho. Total annihilation of the human race was a more plausible ending IMO. Mason's speech at the end couldn't have been more corny.

People don't want sad endings because in life with most events and things that go on things usually don't end picture perfect. Movies and shows are a way for us to go through things and experience events we usually wont or cant. Popes end was odd and uncharacteristic he went from psycho to I found my heart and want to die now lol.
The one thing about the ending I liked and was a bit different then other like alien invasion movies etc. Is that "america" wasn't maintaining its independence it was more that the earth was going to be united and work together as one human race because now they know they aren't alone in universe and there's a bigger picture.
