Many people have a certain meal every year. That's our thing.
It's pork and saurkraut for us. This is pretty much the thing for all the folks with Pa Dutch heritage in this area.
So what do you eat/do every New Year's day....if anything?

Nope, none. I usually work the holidays but do nothing special if I don't.
Went to bed at 8pm last night and was out to breakfast at 6 this morning.

Normally we're like you, in bed by 10 and it's just another normal day around here. Self appointed company goaded me into over indulging!
