RIP Old Man - Twitchin Kitten - 10-24-2013

Last night it was time. Chucky reached the end and we had to make the midnight run to the vet. What was once an 18 pound cat was reduced by age to 4 pounds of skin and bones.

What made it hard was he was still alert and his eyes were better than mine. I don't know how he stayed alive the way he was for so long.

Trudi made it a point to come see him after all the talk of cats here. He took to her and sadly I couldn't get a photo of her on my couch with the pile of cats next to her while we watched TV.

We couldn't figure out how old he was when I got him. He was at least a year old since all his adult teeth were in, but he really didn't look like a juvenile anymore. Found him in my yard in '96 milling about the barnyard.

Awww....It's always a sad day when someone loses one of their herd.
I'm sure you were both better off for having crossed paths in this shitty world Twitch.

Thanks everyone. He was a good cat. Never a problem.

Chucky came "home" this week. They use a new crematorium now and this one sends them home in a nicer casing. Well, same type of cherry wood box but they put a little engraved nameplate on top of it. Poor Chucky, he was once an 18 pound hunk of a cat and his box is half the size of Iggy's.

Here's a different angle of him with the dog. You can see how big he is in relation to her. She's a 60 pound Pit Bull.

Starting to look like a weird pet memorial around here with all the boxes of ashes lying around. I'm thinking, "At our age, we have no one to leave our things to as it is, wtf are people going to think when they go through the last one of us to croak and see all these animal remains?"

So we decided when it's time to move they're all going to get sprinkled in their favorite places in the yard. I can't bury them anymore since there's no place left where I'd either hit someone's bones or too many roots in the way or the risk of someone getting tilled up in a garden.

God it's getting weird around here already.

You should sell lottery tickets Twitch, and the winner gets your crap once you both cack it.
I mean if you sold like $100,000 worth of tickets that would be worth it.

RE: RIP Old Man - TenFour - 11-10-2013

RE: RIP Old Man - BarEdul - 11-11-2013

Not ugh... We are talking antique memory rights here. The Bike alone is worth the $100,000 and were NOT into Pretend money when it comes to real tangible things. DrinksDrinks We're gonna need $200,000 just for the beer party afterwards if ME and LK show up after they cack it.

RE: RIP Old Man - Twitchin Kitten - 11-11-2013

Don't worry. I'm going to outlive all of you on spite.
