My Cat Has Epilepsy - Medicine Woman - 07-13-2012
i have a calico tiger that has a grand mal seizure every 90 days from 2001 on. Do not lecture me about drugs, I just watched her petit mal 3 days ago. I switched foods and she went from grand mal every 90 days like clockwork to 200+ days to petit mal this past week and I have been fortunate enough/cursed enough to witness them all.. I love her and am desperate. I know all the vet recommendations.
Anyone know anything?

Nothing homeopathic. I have a cat that has seizures and I've got her on phenobarbital.
The original dose was 15 grains daily. One pill split in half twice a day.
She was a little 'weird' on it so we dropped her dose to half a pill once a day and she's much much better. no more seizures.
She doesn't have epilepsy, just some kind of seizures.

That's about all I know about cats and seizures of any sort.
Are you anti-drug for animals? I don't understand what you meant about not wanting to be lectured on drugs.
Poor kitty. I will also try to see if my friend Karen can tear herself away from facebook long enough to pop in and answer this. She may be the one to know a homeopatic route for you.
