Paranoia - Twitchin Kitten - 07-06-2012

Has anyone experienced any kind of paranoia?
Do you know of anyone who is paranoid?
Do you know of anyone who thinks the "world" is constantly digging into their private lives that you close off all contact and fly "under the radar" at all times?
Are you so terrified that things you write on some internet forum are going to be used to invade your privacy?
Do these people make up crazy scenarios in their head about things "against them" or "about someone" that it consumes their entire day?
Do you know of anyone like this?
Do you know people who are "reporters" that "feed" these fears to these nut cases?

Yes to all of the above.

RE: Paranoia - Twitchin Kitten - 07-06-2012

Yeah, I can say yes to all of the above too.

I couldn't live like that. I am as honest online as I am offline. I don't pretend to be someone else nor do I make up shit that makes me sound so important I have to hide my identity. I share with 'everyone' what I want to share and the rest I just don't comment on.

It must be terrible having to look over your shoulder all the time thinking the worst of someone when in reality, it's all made up in your head.

You are talking about me, right?
I knew it. What tipped you off?
Oh, holy shit, I let the cat out of the bag. Fuck, they'll be coming for me again.
I just saw a black van pull up out front.

I do actually know a person or two that thinks that the world is out to get them.

My brother is like that. I call him Mr. Gribble.

He won't even use the internet because he thinks the gov't is watching him.

RE: Paranoia - Twilla - 07-06-2012

I pity the person assigned to watch me, what a snooze fest.

No, no, no! You are insane, remember?

You go around telling everyone's business across the WWW with no regard for privacy.
You expose sensitive information and in turn, expose "them" to the world.
Your lack of integrity is something to drop your jaw at.

You must have forgotten.

RE: Paranoia - Twilla - 07-06-2012

Being insane and having a bad memory seem to go hand in hand.

Dogs and crazy people have no sense of time.

RE: Paranoia - Twitchin Kitten - 07-06-2012

Dogs do too have a sense of time. Daisy starts watching the clock around 5 when it's time for Matt to be home. Her timing is all off with the new job.
She also is awake when he's supposed to wake up in case his alarm doesn't go off. She makes sure he gets up.

Every dog I had knew our schedules and daylight savings never threw them off.
