I couldn't figure out from those articles if his comments were tongue-in-cheek or not. If they weren't well, that just adds to the disgust I feel toward this election cycle.

My question is if your president why do you need a campaign fund, your the president just do a press conference let people know your running and that's it. Everyone knows your running then and get to make their decision, also put up a website that answers all potential supporters questions. The end..

Strange, I can't seem to find this on any 'reputable' news sites, including FOX... the only ones carrying this seem to be obviously biased blogs like that asshole Breitbart's. (yes, I know he's dead, he's still an asshole.)
No matter how much you dislike Obama, you can't deny the man is not stupid. He's running for the highest office in the world and he sure as shit isn't going to say something like this that would allow his opponents to crawl up his ass about it.
If someone can provide an actual news link, then I'll reconsider my statement. I'm not in love with the guy either but this is asinine and completely unbelievable.
