The Titanic was real!?! - Twilla - 06-19-2012 This shit pisses me off. These morons hear/read a news story and then tweet their surprise or confusion instead of taking a second to google it. God I hate stupid people. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/cutline/rodney-king-dick-clark-titanic-real-death-major-110858944.html RE: The Titanic was real!?! - Twitchin Kitten - 06-19-2012 I can't believe the excuses they make for these people being so stupid! There were famous people and events throughout history prior to our age group and we certainly knew who they were! Maybe not a full knowledge, but we knew ENOUGH to either look up more details or just say,"yeah I know about that" or some shit. Facebook and Twitter are keeping conversations to a couple of sentences and "likes" and I swear it's dumbing down the world. I'm all for this international communication on the computer, but this is getting ridiculous. RE: The Titanic was real!?! - Twilla - 06-19-2012 I can understand not knowing who a pop culture figure is (although not knowing who the Beatles were seems weird) but the Titanic? And they seem proud to announce to the world that they're ignorant idiots that are too lazy to do a two second google search. I used to be embarrassed when I didn't know something that others considered common knowledge, now people revel in it. Seriously, I hate stupid people. RE: The Titanic was real!?! - Twitchin Kitten - 06-19-2012 It makes you wonder what they're teaching in schools too. The Titanic should be common knowledge! |
