Not Small Not Caged - Rhubarb - 06-05-2012

This is Woody!

He is soft as butter...maybe because he has just been neutered and has a lovely honey coloured girlfriend, Rosy, and a best friend in Hattie the ex-battery hen. They run loose in the garden, when they settle down for a doze Hattie snuggles between both giants totally unafraid.

There is Monty the over weight Jack Russell in the picture, when I'm there he is my shadow hoping for a carrot. Neither him or Boulder his side-kick get close, Boulder has already had cracked ribs trying to chase Woody.

Oh he's lovely! Watch him in the yard! Rabbits eat everything! I know, my garden suffers terribly from the wild bunny that passes through here daily!

It's a bit like having a child about... everything is now 4foot off the ground! Eventually, once the flood problem is resolved he will have his own play pen with boxes of stuff grown for him on shelves in the other garden. I've challenged Sarah's children to start a wall garden of 'anything' including a tray of dandelions.
The garden is a mess at the moment, no grass because the water table is high. The house is quite close to the Avon river.

He is still growing LKTraz. Not a year old until November.

He belongs to Sarah and Martin. They do a petting zoo at fetes (been busy this Very weekend) with a herd of resident guinea pigs (with the odd 'looking for a home' piggies) Woody and Rosy and Peter Rabbit go along too for the ride. Peter is a Rex, so soft, children love to touch him.
They often have chicks to take too and if he is free a photographer friend goes along to take pictures of the kids with the animals. The chicks are always popular at Easter.

They made £80 this weekend just with donations in a jar for a cuddle. Helps with the Vet bills.

He is a big rabbit.

Does soft as butter make him a smoothie?

Mark was thinking more how many he would feed.

Woody is a real 'smoothie' with the girls, he has fathered 12 bunnies. Sarah put a stop to that a few weeks ago, but Woody hasn't noticed!
