Goodbye dear friend - LKTraz - 05-29-2012 Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my faithful friend Tazzy. Thankfully she passed peacefully in her sleep. RE: Goodbye dear friend - LKTraz - 05-30-2012 Thanks everyone. Tazz was on the earth for 10 years and had a hard time of it. She just showed up one cold day as a little furball who fit in one hand. She couldn't have been much more than 6 - 8 weeks old. We brought her in and found that she was the meanest little thing on feet to everyone but me. Hence she was dubbed "the little Tasmanian Devil cat". Her attitude and her markings which bore a resemblance to a Tazzy Devil led to her name becoming Tazzy. Many illnesses found her over the years which took years off her lifespan I'm sure. But......for the time she was here she was my friend. The way one could tell if I was very sick was that Tazz would come in and lay down with me. (She wasn't a cuddly cat) I had a bout of bad flu a few years back and for 3 days she didn't leave me. Pissed off at the world as she was, she was always willing to be friendly with me. I dare say I may never find another quite like her. She was a unique kitty and I'm glad she chose to spend her life with me.
