They're playing that commercial all over here. Those guys all look like queens. And what's up with the hat? That was like some Easter bonnet we wore for church in '65 - on girls.

We got the same hat a few times!
My mom was cool about church. She still thinks she is a good Catholic, hasn't been to mass except for funerals and weddings since 1972, but she understood me not wanting to go when it was discovered I didn't need to make Confirmation. I laugh when she gets all mad at me for not "believing".

Ours was Wednesday afternoons, twice a month. We got let out of school a couple hours early to attend. We were shuttled directly there from school via special bus pickup so not to skip classes either.
We're Roman Catholic of the Eastern Right - like the Greek church - and we make confirmation along with being baptized. Communion was done "normally". That whole communion thing is creepy. Little girls in wedding outfits. WTF?
