Besides the fact the "hoakster" is a dumb twat, what about those imbeciles who charged to the store for something for free from a woman they didn't even know?

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A woman being driven around in a rented limousine pulled up at a coat store and announced she'd won the lottery and would pay for everyone's purchases, police said, but she ended up causing a riot when customers realized it was a hoax.
Angry customers threw merchandise around and looted, leaving the store looking as though a hurricane had passed through it, police said.
Linda Brown was arrested Tuesday after an hours-long shopping spree that began when she hired a stretch Hummer limousine to drop her off at a Burlington Coat Factory store, police Sgt. Lt. Michael Deakins said. Brown walked to a cash register and loudly announced she had won the lottery and would pay for each person's merchandise up to $500, he said.

Didn't anyone check this woman out before they let people leave the store with stuff?
There was a hoax here sometime ago in a restuarant much on the same lines, some bloke showing off to his girlfriend claiming to have won the lottery. The manager wanted proof and when the man waved his credit card about he made him call the bank so he could check out the story. The bank said they couldn't confirm a win.
He chucked the bloke out!
Who in turn complained to the press who made him look a further fool.

You're not allowed to demand proof in such an instance here unless he was at the cash register paying.

When someone says 'The drinks are on me' The landlord need to know he can pay the bill first.
The bank wouldn't disclose any details (breach of confidentiality) other than tactfully his credit card wouldn't be honoured.

Although she was wrong to do as she did......it does prove that people are looking for "something for nothing".
