WW1 in Color - Gunnen4u - 11-17-2011 http://www.worldwaronecolorphotos.com/ As explained, most of these are French because it was a pair of Frenchmen who had patented a process for making color photos. Anyhow, puts a whole new perspective on the past and it's almost ever easier to see rather than imagine what life was like back then, especially during a war. RE: WW1 in Color - LKTraz - 11-18-2011 Pretty interesting. The pictures give you a different perspective over the usual black and white photos. Details lost to monochrome shots are noticeable in these.
