The X chromosome - Rhubarb - 10-09-2011 'What is it with you women! Is it the X chromosome? Does it have a third eye or radio transmitter like a bat? How did she know I was talking to Pete about her and why is she so heated about the bikers calling her Thunder Thighs? She says take her to the cinema to apologize, I'll take her to a railway line and tie her to it! Women! I was only sat here drinking hot chocolate and No 1 son comes in with this out burst. This bust up with his friend Karen has been going on since Wednesday when he text her to ask her if she would like a ride out on his Fazer to the bike meeting so the boys could see the new slim lined 'Thunder Thigh's. He has a lot to learn still RE: The X chromosome - Twitchin Kitten - 10-09-2011 Poor Phil! RE: The X chromosome - LKTraz - 10-10-2011 Ah yes......the innocence of youth! He has yet to realize the truths of life regarding how men and women view things. Ladies, please don't be offended here but...........Trudi, tell the lad that a truth of life (for men) is that all women are sensitive about their appearances and how others perceive them. (that's the PC part) All women are fucking psychos and remain so till around age 27. At that time most start being a bit more reasonable and it usually improves with time. (Don't shoot me. I'm just the messenger.) RE: The X chromosome - Rhubarb - 10-10-2011 (10-10-2011, 02:06 AM)LKTraz Wrote: Ah yes......the innocence of youth! Poor girl she put on a fair bit of weight after splitting with her boyfriend and losing her best girlfriend all in one month (Christine). Philip stopped giving her lifts on his bike, but take her out in the car. So this year she started cycling and joined a gym. She looks fantastic (although I pointed out when she complained about her boobs, there wasn't a lot she could do but spend some money and buy a bra that fitted). Sensitive? Very. She lost her school friend 'Marky Sparky' over a similar comment. He came to Phil's BBQ independently from her, where he would have brought her but because of their fall out. He had just got a job with British Airways as a 'trolley dolly' which scuppered Karen's' hopes of him joining her working in a ski chalet in the winter. He just mentioned she would fit in well with the Germans with her arse and to go without him. (yes-he is more camp than my friend Peter) At least they made friends at the party again and he did take her home. She will calm down............eventually. I just wish she would find a nice lad to settle with though. No- not Phil' they are too volatile, he see her as a sister 'substitute' and she does a very good job at it too. RE: The X chromosome - Twitchin Kitten - 10-10-2011 She sounds way too over sensitive, Trudi. If anyone told me I was wearing ill fitting bras I'd take their advice, not stomp off in a snit! She seems to blow up at the slightest things. Maybe there is a problem at home? Someone teases her mercilessly? Mental abuse no one sees? My family are perfect in front of strangers but once behind closed doors, well, you've seen some of my posts! Been that way all my life. RE: The X chromosome - Rhubarb - 10-10-2011 Oh, her Dad is the problem, I'm sure, he is really obnoxious. He doesn't appear to be interested in his kids at all. Christine used to work with Karen's mother Coraline at the bank before she got the job at Renualt. Christine rescued Karen when she came in one day in tears because her boyfriend had dumped her and asked her to move out of the flat they shared because he had a job in Canada. Coraline pointed out she wouldn't be welcome back home because her dad had turned her room into his computer room. She had to go home eventually and her father moved his 'room' into a space he created in the short L of their open plan house. We have all called at her house and had him answer the door. He looks at you totally blank. You ask for Karen and he grunts and shuts the door! I went over to collect her to stay at our house over night when Christine's friend Ellen was visiting from Norway. Karen let me in and her mother asked in to sit down and asked if I had time for a coffee and wanted to talk about Christine. He was channel hopping on this huge TV he had just bought, so he just kept pushing up the sound, so it was impossible to chat. When Karen said we ought to make a move and said goodnight to her parents he ignored her, but her mother came and waved from the door. Mark thought it odd, he never questioned why Mark would call for her and Philip gets a response now (after 2 years) 'You taking her out on that bike?' when he is in full kit and carrying a helmet for Karen in his hand. 'You going somewhere in that car?' When he isn't. Philip never removes his helmet when he calls and always give the biggest grin when her dad answers the door, just to pee him off, but he never ever says, 'Hello Philip'. I wonder what he is like at work. He is in Technical support for BT (British Telecom) RE: The X chromosome - Twitchin Kitten - 10-10-2011 Not being interested is one thing, but verbally / mentally abusive is another. He sounds like the kind of prick who would torment her when no one is around. RE: The X chromosome - LKTraz - 10-11-2011 What a complete dickhead. RE: The X chromosome (Update) - Rhubarb - 10-16-2011 Today I rode my bike down the coast to Weymouth for the Beach Motocross. Haven't seen it for years. Phil' was trying to decide his day, breakfast as usual with his local biker friends, go on a ride with the Uni group, join me at Weymouth, do a bit more work on the SAAB before it goes in for its MOT. I did an quick trip to the shops in the Renault (haven't driven it for ages, forgot what fun it is to corner). Get home to find Karen sheepishly in the kitchen waiting for the kettle to boil. Phil' text her and asked her to breakfast, which she graciously accepted and then he kitted her out in his spare motorcycle clothes and brought her home. The three of us headed to Weymouth for the day. It was a good trip and we all had a brilliant time. Great weather for a ride too, not too hot although I'm so glad I've put my winter liner back in my jacket and trousers. Got home just before 6pm as it was getting dark and it was feeling a bit nippy on the dual carriage way. I lost Phil' on that stretch because he had to race Karen home in time for her evening meal (the traffic had been diverted and trying to get the bikes down a narrow lane in two way traffic made us unpopular) so he just took off and was gone! Even when I reached 70mph, there was no sign of them My bike can't do more than that I really need more gears. The up shot? We went and had tea with one of the bikers who lived in Weymouth. He was really pleased to see us and in typical Pete style gave Karen a back handed compliment. She came out of the bathroom and walked across the kitchen only to have Phil's bike trousers slow slide down showing her knickers. 'Whose jeans are you wearing Karen?' Phil' said they were his and they were a 28" waist, a pair he bought after his accident. 'Good grief girl, you are wasting away! Do like the knickers the colour is you'. She went all pink.........same colour as her knickers |
