So OK, we're retards. Somehow we managed to miss the Razorbacks tonight at the boardwalk at Spicy's Cantina. Good thing they're coming back next month.
that band! Well, it so happens that there is some kind of biker weekend going on here as well. So, after gulping down our drinks and scooting out of Spicy's, we mosey on down the boardwalk and find this biker shindig.
What do I hear? A live band playing Trudi's favorite song! Let it play folks - we got toothless, drunken skanks, boobs and weirdos all for the gawking.
This band managed to segue from Sugar Sugar to the Who back to Sugar Sugar, Run Around Sue and more. I dug it. But the people watching was / is always the best around here.

Um Twist, those are rubber boobies. But, at most biker events, the whipping out of real boobies is not frowned upon. I will even admit to whipping mine out on occasion. One time at President Clinton.

It was too fast to tell they were fake.
I do remember seeing a band years ago one drunken night, they morphed from Metallica to the Beasty Boys and into AC/DC. I thought that was cool as hell.

Yesterday yielded us nice weather for the early part of the day so instead of the boardwalk, we tried for the Greek festival instead.
That was a giant waste of time.
Nothing there but a few bounce houses, a giant tent dining room with dance floor and food. nothing but food! Hell, I can make a lot of that stuff myself. Cost us $2 each to go indoors. So we figure the good stuff must be in there and we pay to get in. More food vendors. Some booths selling tchotchkies that were completely meaningless but one had those little dolls I want, except they didn't nest inside one another.
Literally - 5 minutes in and out and we went grocery shopping. My mom was going to try to come down for this but that would have made me feel bad making her come out for that shit. What a waste.
