BioLogic bike accessories - Twitchin Kitten - 06-27-2011

I found this site while surfing the net for a nice Iphone mount for the handlebars. I couldn't find a nice inexpensive one but ran across this site and WOW! Check out some of the gadgets they have for the bikes. I can even generate my own energy.

I looked, I like some of that stuff in a nerdy kinda way.

RE: BioLogic bike accessories - Twitchin Kitten - 06-28-2011

Yeah, I kept telling Matt that there ought to be a way to generate power with "pedal power" and I had no idea until yesterday that this stuff existed. Matt says the magnetic whateveryoucallit is the trick and brilliant.

I wish I had the money because I'd buy one of each for both bikes. I may wind up splurging on the phone case no matter what. Those iPhones are expensive and it's worth the money to protect it. I plan on having that thing for a few years unlike the other types of cell phones I've had in the past.

I actually thought that the dyno hub there was rather inexpensive compared to others I have seen.

RE: BioLogic bike accessories - Twitchin Kitten - 06-28-2011

You've seen others?

So, that dyno hub - i'm not sure from watching the video on it but it looks like you'd have to buy the whole rim. Or you buy the hub and have someone put in your own rim. You know I ain't going to mess with the spokes. That rim on that weird bike doesn't look sturdy enough for trail riding.

RE: BioLogic bike accessories - twisteroo - 06-28-2011

Yeah, you buy the hub and have someone re-lace your rim for you, or do it yourself and learn how to build wheels.

RE: BioLogic bike accessories - Twitchin Kitten - 07-01-2011

Apparently you buy the whole wheel on this one. I wrote to them yesterday. I am not exactly thrilled with their answer. I asked if it will suit my Trek 3700D and this is the idiotic reply they gave me.

FYI - you get the whole wheel - laced and all.

Dear Joan,

So...a 20" wheel like on a kid's bike then?

Who the hell is gonna spend that kinda money on a wheel for a kid's bike?

RE: BioLogic bike accessories - Twitchin Kitten - 07-01-2011

I think they dont' think outside their own little world. Look at that bike they're using in that video - it's a weird bike.

I'm small but my bike does not have clown wheels.
