My little Ally just - Havoc - 04-22-2011
Had 6 babies.
She woke me up at 3:30 this morning and wanted me to be with her while she had them.
I will get pics when I can.
They are cruisers but they are all grey,not a gold one in the bunch.

She hasn't left them, she didn't know what to do with the first one, she had it by me on the couch, I coaxed her to finish the seperation and she did, then she wanted to go into her nest she had been working on for the last couple of weeks, I moved the first one for her and she had the rest on her own.
all of them are alive so far.
she is feeding them and seems to be very attentive to them.
she just wants me to pet her and talk to her she purrrrrs so loud when I do.

You should see poor maggie, she is beside herself with the kittens being born in the house, she watched the first one be born, now she wants them to come out and play.
everytime one meows even a little bit she heads for the secluded corner where ally made her nest, she cracks me up.
I will try and get pics tomorrow.

Aw she probably wants to help raise them.
Sometimes in feral communities you'll see them behaving more like a pride of lions than domestic house cats. I've seen this behavior in house cats where large colonies exist and there are kittens frequently.
How does Ally regard this? Does she get pissed off or she takes it in stride? I bet in a week or so you'll see both cats in there snuggling with the babies.
How many are there?

I count 6, Ally doesn't mind maggie, but I'm keeping her away from them for now.
Ally is out right now laying in my lap sleeping. Max is irritated because he can't get in my lap, maggie keeps trying to sneak up and see the kittens.
This is probably going to make me crazy.

Yeah it will, at least for the next 12 days or so!
Things will settle down nicely for awhile. Hopefully you don't have a jealous male that wants to kill them. THAT will keep you even more busy!
