An issue affecting hundreds, perhaps thousands being unable to access the MyBB.com site has still not been fully resolved, despite assurances from MyBB management. Unable to view the site myself from the UK, I used a US proxy to gain access and discovered post after post from people having the same problem, and being obliged to try proxies to get in. This follows an apparent DDOS attack during which Cisco devices known as Cisco Guards were deployed to mitigate the attack. Chris Boulton, product manager, stated "The automatic removal for one of the Guard devices failed, and as a result traffic originating from certain upstream providers was still subject to Guard analysis and ultimately blocked.".
That sounds a lot like "we've found the problem and fixed it" but unfortunately it isn't the case. The problem continues and vast numbers of members looking for support, together with would-be users remain unable to access MyBB.com

I haven't had an issue at all. I did see other boards bitching Mybb was down.
I didn't even notice any posts on the board but, then again I don't really go there unless I have a problem.

MyBB say the problem is fixed now, and I got access this morning using my regular IP. Cool! Now we can all go back to testing our F5 key whilst waiting for replies to support questions.
