When I first saw this on TV and heard they used NorthStar navigation I was like, "Here we go with more Big Brother invading my privacy." but when I saw this online I can see it's a personal indoor device.
With all the pet hair around here, I find myself constantly vacuuming. This would be great all week to keep the hair to a minimum and I can do heavy super-duty vacumming of the house on weekends!
This is on my Christmas list. Santa better be listening!

Ok-That is totally awesome. How much is it? Can it tell the difference between carpet and wood because my wood and carpet abut each other.

I hope it can! I only have carpet in one room right now and I can close that door.
The Roomba does carpets I think. I'm not sure.

I know what I want for Christmas too. I love how it cleans around the chairs. After reading the description, it says it goes around area rugs, so I am guessing it will avoid the carpet as well.
I need something for my hardwood floors besides me.
