Stay away from Mock - site infected - Twitchin Kitten - 08-19-2010
Anyone who still goes to Mock should be aware that the site is infected with a Trojan and has been infecting anyone who logs in.
I was bored and was going to snoop and found these infections.

If you've been there and are using a crappy anti-virus software like McAfee or Norton (Symantec), you need to get a better one and run a full system scan.
Try Avast or Avira - they work and they're free.

You really should. People love to attack Windows. Granted there are a few out there that get the Mac's but Apple is way up on security issues and you really don't see people talking about viruses and their Macs.

Ugh-I recently had $2.5k stolen from my business accounts, I wonder if it had anything to do with this. I will not be going back to Mock under any circumstance. I rarely post over there anyway, just read. I'm a lurker-heh heh.

Well this is the second attack since they re-opened. When I was creating the new forum and had access to Franks' stuff I wound up loaded with viruses. Twice. Once when I helped him with 24 and when I did Mock for him. HE never got an alert so he didn't think it was important. HE used that stupid McAfee too.
Whatever they got is in their files. It was there when they were using the hosting company I recommended when Duchess took it, and now its' the same attack on this new host that moron God (aka arsehole on this site - yes he's a TK member) recommended.
Apparently he does not know what he's doing. Their site didn't need moving due to crappy hosting causing slowness... they need to clean their files. Fucking morons. Wouldn't happen if me or Dylan were helping her.
