Netflix! - Twitchin Kitten - 09-09-2009 Does anyone use it? I know a couple here do and we had a post about this on the other forum. What's great about Netflix is that you can hook up with friends there, share their movie lists and send notes to each other on what movie sucked or rocked! Feel free to post your Netflix name and exchange lists with us. I got on my list of friends: Kbear Vizzy 17th Knight You can find me under the name Twitchin Kitten And now I'm off to rate movies! RE: Netflix! - kbear - 09-09-2009 Bruce asked me why he keep getting emails from from someone on netflexs about movies. I told what was going on. Now he sends them on to me. RE: Netflix! - Twilla - 02-21-2010 I just ordered a Roku thingie to watch netflix on my TV... I'm strangely aroused now. RE: Netflix! - Twitchin Kitten - 02-21-2010 Matt was thinking of getting one of those too but Netflix said they're going to be adding more DVR devices to the list of acceptable ones besides TiVO and we're kind of holding out hoping ours makes the list. RE: Netflix! - Twilla - 02-21-2010 I liked the fact it works on ANY TV... I've got a 20 year old Sony that I haven't even turned on in probably a year. There's no reason for me to get a new one since I never got a converter for it and I don't even have basic cable but it's still good enough to watch some netflix on. I'm hoping this will also inspire me to use my dusty exercise machine while watching a show I like. Unlikely, but I have good intentions which should count for something. RE: Netflix! - Twitchin Kitten - 02-21-2010 I have two small new flat screens for the back rooms and my old RCA colortrak that I bought in '96. I don't care what Matt says, I like the old TV better. I don't need my glasses to read the HIGH DEF bullshit. People's skin are the proper color and reds are not so red they look nuclear. I'm sorry, but people just don't see the world in those bright colors and sharp definitions! It's also a bitch waiting for the damn things to switch between the HD channels and the "other" ones. Matt just keeps telling me to get used to it, this is how it is. Why is it that new technology seems to make things more annoying and tedious more often than not? RE: Netflix! - Twilla - 02-21-2010 Because we're getting old and cranky? Hey you kids, get off my lawn! RE: Netflix! - Twitchin Kitten - 02-21-2010 LOL i got rocks instead of grass. But I do yell at some dopey bitch that keeps walking her little dogs on my 'rocks'. Stupid bitch had not figured out in 10 years that I SEE here every time. DUH, I got two dogs that can hear you breathing outside let alone if you trespass and let your rugrats shit on my 'lawn'. I'm always tempted to put one of the pits on a leash tied to the tree just long enough to let them get to the edge of the lawn and scare the living hell out of her. We first moved here and I attempted to be nice in casual conversation but she apparently judges people by looks and what they drive. Tattoos and motorcycles apparently scare her. Bitch has been nasty to me ever since. She didn't realize I can out bitch her 99 to 1!! She also thinks it's OK for her little dogs to piss and shit on everyone elses yard too. I hate people like that. RE: Netflix! - LH - 03-05-2010 The last I heard in a few days we will be down to 10-15 regular channels on the T.V. and netfix. There comes a point in time where "more" is not really "better". I will report back with my results in a month or so.
