Oh wow! Those are magnificent! That's one thing I've never seen, the Northern Lights. If we ever go back to visit Matt's family in Michigan I'm going to make him take me to the U.P. and see them.

You know my friend that lives in the Arctic is frightened of them? Her brother would tell her troll and Nordic stories about them when she was a child. She was so glad to find we didn't have them on the south coast.

Now she is fine with them, so much so, she even suggested we went back to visit in the winter sometime to see them for ourselves!

Every now and again we can see the northern lights here, I mean it's nothing like it is up north, but we can see the waves across the sky anyway.

Every once in a while a faint aurora is visible in the skies of central and northern Pa. Pretty cool pics there Viz.
