Tomorrow night is concert night! Yahoo

Got tickets to see Reverend Horton Heat at the House of Blues in AC!

We actually got one ticket open. Someone punked out on us yesterday. Anyone want to go?

OMG we had a blast! Didnt' get home until 7AM yesterday, nursed a hangover to beat the band and still got a headache now that is weather related. I just want it to rain so the pain goes away.

Reverend Horton Heat was great - got a song off the new album I have to find to put in LK's twisted tunes thread. Nashville Pussy was good too...... but Motorhead... ugh. I'm sorry, metal is not my thing and they were too loud! I never complain about loud unless it's poorly done.

You know that because it hurts your ears. HOB is small. You do not need ear bleeding volume in there. You lose sound quality. I couldn't understand a note, word or song. It was screechy and tinny sounding too compared to the other two bands. And they were LOUD too. but at least you can understand the lyrics! I hate having to listen to a new song and not understand it - how do i know if I like it? wot

OK after I wake up a little more, I'll hunt down the tune - my head is not at full capacity yet!!

Motorhead prob had their own sound crew working the board as opposed to the house crew. They are too used to playing big venues and as such will lean toward overwhelming volume levels.

Lemmy Killmeister (Bassist and vocals) is a growler and is a mite difficult to understand as he tends to slur lyrics a bit. He takes some getting used to. Some of his slurring is due to the growth he has on his neck which at this point is damn near a second head!

Sounds like otherwise you had a friggin' blast! Yahoo

I just bought the whole album instead off their site. It's easier to pay the $9.99 than to spend a whole day searching for it on Frostwire. Just need to wake up more to get my shit together.
