We have tons of those floating dead in the pool every morning. Sad

Great pics of the honey bees though!

What kind / brand of camera are you using, Havoc?

I do envy those who can do photography so well.

These pics were taken with a Konica/Minolta Dimage Z2, I really like doing the macro photograpy its a challenge on many different levels.

I still have my non digital Canon Rebel SLR and I love it. I have an old Sony CD Mavica and a Canon Powershot A590 which sucks. I still use the old Sony more than the smaller Canon for digital photos. It has less megapixels and takes much better pictures, especially the macros settings. The Canon is just pure crap and it's got 8 mp! I think the sony has 3.3.

Matt's friend is selling his older Canon Rebel DSLR that he wants to sell for $200. I have it for the weekend to see if I like it. My Tamron lens fits it and so does the flash I have for the SLR so I might take it even though it's older. I think it's got 8 mp's.

I'm liking that new Nikon that the idiot Ashton Kutcher has been promoting on commercials too.

I still have my old Canon AE1 program, 35mm with all the whistles and bells. Sadly the little digital jobs are so small and easy to use. Every now and again I get the 35mm out and snap a roll or two through it.

I like the photos out of the SLR better than digitals. I can scan them nicely and blow them up without loss of image and you don't have those annoying square pixels. I think somewhere on this Apple I can set square or round pixels on the Photoshop though. I'm not sure about all that though.

I still shoot film now and then, and use the Olympus OM2n for those times there are times when only film will do.

Do you think I should take that old Rebel DSLR if I decide I like it over the weekend? Is $200 a good deal for that? It only has the "original" lens and I dont' know what else. I'll find out tomorrow.
