Harley gets Bike of the Night. - Rhubarb - 06-09-2010 Thought you lot would be pleased to hear an Orange Harley recieved the Bike of the Night award last night. 1st this season. It was a good night considering the weather started off damp. Saw loads of friends and caught up with the gossip. Lost Mark at one point (nothing new there, but it does get annoying when you are heading for the pub). Then I saw Jerry, Mark's Canadian friend, who is in this country 'for his health', something to do with the Hells Angels So I gave him a big kiss, logic being Mark will appear as soon as I do something like that! Which worked. So Mark made some comment about Harley riders (as he would) with Jerry, his mate Bill, and Jeff's father Ray all stood there in their Harley jackets Time to slide to the pub? Jerry has bought a Suzuki! He says the Harley gear cost him so much he still wears it. Sorry America. So later I leave the quay and at the round-a-bout I head off towards my parents (mum's ill) and Mark carried on round to go home. nothing funny, there is 3 bikes following me, they are just going home like all the other three or four hundred there that night. Except I turn off to my parents, so do they, I drive into the road, so do they I'm a bit worried by now, who would be following me? I ride straight into the drive and stopped right on the front door of my parents house. So do the others! It's No1 son and his mates, phew! Just wondering where mum was going. Checking up on me more likely. So there is my mum very slowly opening the front door with her walking stick at the ready, she heard all the noise in her driveway. So Dad put the kettle on and after a bit Ryan and Dan said bye and shook the road with double decibels.
