aska japanese drum - Vizth Hal - 06-03-2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbfqMhT0xeQ Well worth the watch, if you guys like this one I'll post some others from the same group. RE: aska japanese drum - Rhubarb - 06-03-2010 I've seen some of this before. It is well done. I went to see a medley from The Northern Ballet many years ago- my brother treated my mother and myself, because he loved the music from the pieces performed in the first section, traditional and classical music, Coppelia, Snow Queen and Cinderella. Only he didn't fully read the programme. The second half was modern ballet.... fantastic work, no music at first, dancing through hoops and mirrors so it became an optical illusion. To keep the rhythum for the dancers they introduced a bell and then a drum which eventually progressed into somthing like your video with it getting faster and faster. My mother and I were up on our feet clapping and stamping our feet as was everyone....except my brother, who didn't like it one bit. RE: aska japanese drum - twisteroo - 06-04-2010 Very cool, my wrists hurt just watching them. RE: aska japanese drum - Vizth Hal - 06-04-2010 here ya go, number 2 from the concert http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4Jlc26uCKk RE: aska japanese drum - LKTraz - 06-04-2010 Impressive to say the least. Their coordination is excellent. These are some extremely talented percussionists. They put me in mind of the Blue Man Group and Stomp in terms of their creativity using simply basic percussion rhythms to compose complex works. More please! |
